Leh Ladakh is a union territory in northern India that's known for its mountainous landscape, high altitude, and rich history:

Landscape

The Leh district is one of India's largest, covering 45,100 square kilometers. It's bordered by Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to the west, China to the north and east, and Himachal Pradesh's Lahul Spiti to the southeast. The district is mountainous, with three parallel Himalayan ranges, the Zanskar, Ladakh, and Karakoram, running through it. The Shayok, Indus, and Zanskar rivers flow between the ranges, and most of the population lives in the valleys of these rivers.

Leh has a rich history that's reflected in its heritage sites, including the 17th-century Leh Palace, a fine example of medieval Tibetan architecture. Leh Palace was the former residence of the royal family of Ladakh and was built in a similar style and around the same time as the Potala Palace in Tibet. Explore everything of this state right from its beautiful cities to hill-stations by booking Ladakh holiday packages available at www.dreamsyatri.com Here, you can choose any kind of Ladakh tour packages from the list and plan a Ladakh vacation accordingly!
