Itinerary
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be driven to Kaziranga National Park (around 5-6 hours). Check into your jungle resort or hotel near the park. Spend the evening relaxing amidst nature, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Start the day early with an elephant safari in the central range of Kaziranga, offering the best chance to spot rhinos, elephants, swamp deer, and wild buffaloes up close. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, enjoy a jeep safari in the Western Range, famous for its grasslands and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. Evening at leisure and overnight stay at the resort.
After breakfast, visit nearby Assamese villages to experience local culture and traditions. Later, visit a nearby tea garden, where you can learn about Assam tea production and enjoy a refreshing cup. Return to the resort and spend a relaxed evening surrounded by nature.
After breakfast, check out and return to Guwahati for your onward journey.
